The Task
Nibbs Events approached us to collaborate on the launch of the BAFTA Games in Concert series: an ambitious new project celebrating the artistry of video game music through large-scale live performances. Their vision was to create an online presence that balanced the use of game assets while clearly communicating essential details to fans, press, and prospective attendees as part of a wider promotional campaign.
Our Approach
Our focus was on designing and developing a lightweight yet visually engaging website that could evolve alongside the tour. With the concert programme spanning multiple titles, genres, and creative themes, the layout was carefully crafted to showcase each game without overwhelming the user. This required a considered balance between recognisable game artwork and a clean, informative interface. Clear navigation, prominent calls to action, and a smooth ticket-buying journey were central to the overall design approach.

The result is a flexible, single-page website built with modular components, allowing the site to be updated quickly and efficiently as new performances and tour dates are announced.

The website originally launched to announce the first tour date at the Southbank Centre. Since then, the tour has expanded across the UK, with additional dates added alongside newly announced performances of Ori and the Will of the Wisps, Returnal, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Far Cry 4, and Virginia.
Nibbs Events were delighted with the final result, with the website being featured on several industry platforms popular with both video game and music audiences. The site played a central role in the overall marketing and ticket promotion strategy, helping to drive awareness and ensure a successful tour launch.
