The Task
In collaboration with the renowned creative agency Feref, the Digital Gambit team was entrusted with producing a suite of compelling digital display banners for Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, the latest instalment in the iconic Planet of the Apes franchise.
This high-profile project aimed to engage both longtime fans and new audiences by delivering dynamic, visually striking creatives that captured the essence of the film’s epic storytelling.
Our goal was to drive awareness and boost ticket sales by ensuring the campaign achieved strong visibility across multiple digital platforms. Working closely with Feref, we developed assets that resonated with the intended audience and were distributed across key online touchpoints, including cinema websites, entertainment blogs, and popular news outlets.
Our Approach
We were tasked with designing a diverse range of banners for an extensive online advertising campaign. The primary challenge was to develop visuals that not only reflected the film’s cinematic scale and emotional depth but also stood out in a highly competitive digital landscape.
To meet this, we crafted a series of bold, high-impact creatives using cinematic imagery and colour palettes that aligned with the film’s dramatic tone. Each banner was built with adaptability in mind, ensuring consistency across various formats and screen sizes, while maintaining visual integrity. Our team worked collaboratively with Feref’s creative leads to align design direction with the broader marketing strategy and release timeline.

The campaign required a customised creative strategy to meet the unique objectives of the film’s digital marketing rollout.
